Group Visits
Do you have a group of budding marine biologists, or are you visiting the beach for a class, group or camp outing? Join us at Hampton Beach to explore our touch tank, learn about local marine life, and do a beach cleanup!
Our Blue Ocean Discovery Center can accommodate small groups of about 20 visitors at one time.
Pricing: $100/hour for 1 hour visit up to 60 students, groups of 20 or more split into groups
Homeschool Visits
Supplement your homeschooled students’ learning with a visit to the Blue Ocean Discovery Center! One-hour visits for up to 15 homeschooled students include all of the activities below and are a great way to connect with nature while learning about the ocean during the school year.
Pricing: $25/hour for 1 hour visit up to 5 students, $25 for each additional 5 students, up to 15 students total
Activities
Visitors can explore our touch tanks with our knowledgeable educators, learn about the biology and behavior of local whales, investigate the impacts of climate change on the Gulf of Maine, and learn about fishing through our maritime artifact display. You can also do hands-on activities as a scavenger hunt or a beach cleanup right outside our door on Hampton Beach!
