One of our favorite events is coming up… the Run for the Ocean 5K, presented by Kennebunk Savings! Due to the pandemic, the event will be virtual again this year. That’s OK, though – it means even more people can participate!
No matter where you are, you can participate by signing up and then running or walking 3.1 miles (5km) on June 5! To make it even more fun, gather some friends and family members (virtually or in the same spot) and form a team! There are registration discounts for teams of 8 or more!
You choose the course – wherever you’d like to run or walk 3.1 miles, whether that’s in your neighborhood, on a local trail, or even on your treadmill! Prizes are awarded for several age groups, plus best costume, best pet costume, best fundraiser and to the participant whose course looks most like a whale! Gather your family, friends and co-workers from across the country and around the world, and sign up now! There is a $5 registration discount for teams of 8 or more – they don’t have to all live in the same location!
