Tristate Earth Day Cleanups, presented by Kennebunk Savings

Clean the beach with us in NH, ME, or MA to celebrate Earth Day and protect marine life from litter!

Celebrate Earth Day with us across NH, ME, and MA! International Coastal Cleanup 2022 was our first tristate cleanup event, and we are so excited to continue the tradition!

All ages are welcome, although children should be supervised at all times due to the sharp nature of items on the beach.

Thank you to Kennebunk Savings for sponsoring our Earth Day Cleanups!

Why join a beach cleanup for Earth Day?

Beach cleanups are a great way to engage with other locals while also protecting marine life in your community!
Additionally, marine debris is one of the most prevalent issues facing the marine environment today. According to the Ocean Conservancy, it’s estimated that 11 million metric tons of plastics enter our oceans annually. Studies have concluded that plastic has been found in 59% of seabird species (Wilcox et al., 2015), 100% of sea turtle species (Rizzi et al., 2019), and more than 25% of fish sampled from the seafood industry (Rochman et al., 2015). This is why it’s so important for us to come together as a community to clean the beaches as much as we can!

Clean the beach before/after Earth Day!

We have two more monthly cleanups before the summer starts! Saturday, April 1st, and Saturday, May 6th, at Hampton Beach. Register here. Or request a private cleanup here!

We can’t wait to clean the beach with you!
