We’re not fooling… on April 1 we’ll be joining up with 3 local refill stores to help you find your way around the refill process!
Refill stores are popping up in many locations. They allow you to purchase eco-friendly products and bring your own containers to fill with products such as dish soap, shampoo, laundry detergent and more. This way you can eliminate plastic packaging from your household and buy products that are safer for you and the environment.
Shopping at a refill store is a great way for you to reduce the plastic in your life and help the ocean, but that first visit can sometimes be a little intimidating. What is a refill store, exactly? How does it work? Do you need to bring anything? Is it super expensive? What kind of products can you buy and where do they come from?
Join us along with the owners of local refill stores We Fill Good, The Refill Station and Leave No Trace Refillery on Thursday, April 1 at 6 PM EDT. They’ll give a brief introduction and quick tours of their business, and then we’ll open things up for questions and discussion.
