World Oceans Day is on Friday. What better way to show your support for a healthy ocean than by supporting us during NH Gives?
NH Gives brings the state together as one community, raising as much money and awareness as possible for New Hampshire’s nonprofits within a 24-hour, flash-mob of giving. The campaign starts at 6 PM on June 6 and ends at 6 PM on June 7. Throughout the 24 hours, there will be a variety of prizes awarded to non-profits and donors!
We hope to raise $2,000 within this 24-hour period to support our education and outreach programming. Will you partner in our efforts?
Here is how your donation can help:
- $25 funds one of the 200+ beach cleanups we do each year.
- $50 helps us keep our Blue Ocean Discovery Center touch tanks running for a week, which allows us to educate more than 2,000 visitors.
- $100 funds a microplastics sampling team for the season. This produces data used to develop pollution solutions while educating volunteers and beach visitors.
- $250 will help us establish a storm warning network to engage volunteers in cleanups before and after large storms.
- $500 funds an interactive educational program for a school in need.
- $1,000 will help us produce a professional video to engage more people in our mission.
