Join us on Monday, November 30 at 7 PM as we present Entangled, an award-winning film focusing on right whales. The film will be shown virtually, so you can watch from the comfort of your own space!
Entangled is a new film about how climate change has accelerated a collision between one of the world’s most endangered species, North America’s most valuable fishery, and a federal agency mandated to protect both.
The North Atlantic right whale is one of the most endangered large whale species. Less than 400 right whales remain worldwide. While the species is declining, there is still time to save them. Join us for the film to learn about the complicated issues surrounding right whales. After the film, we’ll have a discussion with filmmaker David Abel and others.
The film, by the makers of Lobster War and Sacred Cod, won a 2020 Jackson Wild award, known as the Oscars of nature films. It also won Best Conservation Film at the Mystic Film Festival.
