Join us in the historic Music Room for an exploration of Sound Explorations’ innovative work, where music and marine science come together to make discovery accessible to all. This presentation will introduce Whales in Motion, a unique project that combines tactile sculpture models and live musical performances to bring the world of whale foraging behaviors to life. Designed with accessibility in mind, this experience enables blind and low-vision communities to engage with and understand how whales forage for food and move through their ocean environment.

To get to Carey Cottage, follow Little Harbor Road in Portsmouth until you see Creek Farm/GoodWork signs. Turn right through the stone gate onto Creek Farm Driveway.
Parking is in designated spaces (GoodWork) and can be limited. If you find yourself at a parking lot with a Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion sign and a brown house, you missed the Creek Farm Driveway. Return in the direction you came and take a left after the white sign on the tree that says “CREEK FARM RESERVATION.”
