New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup, presented by Aquafisk

Join us for New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup! New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup (NHCC) is part of the larger, global cleanup effort called International Coastal Cleanup organized by Ocean Conservancy. We collect data at all cleanups by tallying the items we find on the beach. This data helps us understand the debris on our beaches and what steps we can all take to make the ocean a cleaner place. During NHCC, the data collected will also contribute to the Ocean Conservancy’s marine debris research!

All supplies are provided except gloves. Please bring reusable gloves, such as gardening gloves, rubber cleaning gloves, work gloves, or thin winter gloves. We avoid using disposable gloves to reduce our contribution to waste from single-use plastics.

We will be cleaning Foss Beach in Rye, but we will meet at Rye Harbor State Park, as it is more accessible to get onto the beach.  You can park right at Rye Harbor State Park for $3/hr, or there is free parking along the northbound lane of Ocean Boulevard. Please keep in mind this beach can be rocky.
