Candles…how amazing are they? There are so many lovely scents that can take you on a trip down memory lane. Light a driftwood candle and you’ll remember that time you were on the beach laughing with your friends. Light an apple cinnamon candle and you’re instantly dancing in the colorful leaves on a brisk fall day. And who doesn’t like to spoil themselves with a lavender candle after a stressful day?
With so many amazing smelling candles we often end up with too many used candle jars that we’re not exactly sure what to do with. If you’re anything like me, you probably have about 3 or 4 almost finished candles scattered throughout the house. The problem is most of them are not easily recyclable because of the mixed material that they’re made out. What do you do with all your burnt-down unusable candles jars? Repurpose them! There are actually some really nifty household uses for the empty candle jars; once you clean them out.
Here are 3 fun and useful ways to repurpose those empty candle jars.
1. Store your sea treasures! It’s a lovely way to create a sentimental gift or a decorative item.
2. Sometimes my toy friends like to wander around the house. This is a good way to bring them back together.
3. Tea bag holder! I always have several open boxes of tea. This is a good way to keep them together and keep the different choices visible when you’re just not sure which kind you’re in the mood for.
